Photo Essay - Day in the Life Traveling to Bismarck, North Dakota I chose to do a day in the life of a Division 2 swimmer who is traveling for a meet. When I went home over thanksgiving break my grandma was going to get rid of an old digital camera and I decided to take it along back to school. I wanted to shoot my subjects using this to give the feeling of the day on “film” and like we were in the moment. Sometimes when you bring out the bigger camera you don’t get as much raw emotion so I really wanted to capture the simplicity but also complexity of traveling with my team for a meet.
